I posted some time ago about this victorinox knife.  Pshaw.  Such puny technology.  Wenger, not to be outdone by Victorinox, has elected to one up them.  Or possibly 5 up them.

Called, appropriately, just 'The Giant Knife, 1.0"

Does it have places that you can break it down to be smaller? I just wonder how you could hold it and use one of the knifes on it, or screwdrivers, or anything else.

No, you must secure the knife in place using a ground anchor and rotate your work item around it. :)

besides, I think it's big enough to generate a gravitational field, which ought to help with hanging on to it.

And totally useless. The bloody things wider than the blade is long. You'd need to hold it with two hands to keep the knife steady, and then your object is flopping around. Sometimes more is actually less. Now if this thing had mechanical arms and a wireless controller . . .

Definitely a Sharper Image item. Still, I wonder if there's a DXF file of it somewhere. With a little texturing it would make a great alien starcruiser...
