I'm not going to lie, I am VERY excited for you. I think it's cool that I knew you before you went to China and... it's just been neat to see that you have really worked hard for an obtained your goals. It's truly inspiring!
Do you think your fellowship could lead to on-going employment? Hey, at the very least you'll get great opportunities to network, I bet! Wow, that an exciting time for you!

no, my fellowship will not lead to ongoing employment. They were quite clear about it during the interview. But still, it's a fellowship (which means I get paid, as opposed to an internship which means I don't get paid) with a UN organization. So it's freaking prestigious. So thrilled! \o/

There are ways to defer and reduce student loans, especially if you are doing public service. studentaid.ed.gov, many people don't know.
