Apparently if a Professor does not agree with a student's opinions, it is acceptable to lower his or her grade because of it.

I'm saying that a teacher gives you a grade based on their opinion about your work. If your paper includes what the assignment entails, then you get a good grade, but if you do everything but you're missing the point of the paper, then what was the point of doing it?
