August was the worst month of my life.

On August 01, 2009, my father died of cancer. He was only 67. We found out he had throat cancer early in May of 09, and he was hospitalized for a while for treatments. I went to my very first club last weekend! It was a launch party for my bf's friend's sister's company. TerraLauren.com. Basically its earth friendly items like a reusable shopping bags. I'm super tired >_<. Today I had an 8 hour shift at work and NO LUNCH or break whatsoever! Isn't that like against the OSHA law or state regulations or something? We started about 8am til 4pm, and there were so many patients that had no appointments, so knowing the doc he won't say no to them. Ok! Since I didn't get to write much (I blame the below freezing temp in my room that caused my fingers to freeze up every time it leaves the comfort of my Snuggie ) I managed to grab my gloves, Snuggie and other means to survive this cold, and type again! R-Day for me tomorrow. Meaning, Reformatting my current drive and installing 60 gigs HD, woot. I could have gotten a 90 gig HD for 75 bucks, plus tax, and that's only 7 dollars more for a 30 gig compared to my 60 gig one. But the brand, Hitachi, didn't sound right..plus, there were many return backs. Anyway, yay, can't wait to install tons of crap ( Read more... )

Finally going to update this journal. Friday I finally got to see Ping's band, Emaneht, and we got to hung out with them for a bit after the show. Dean is a cool person, he's more of a social guy than the rest of the group (so it seems).
