The honeymoon period for my job just wore off.

I've been sick for about a week now. I did get prescribed antibiotics from the nurse at work so I hope its cleared up by Wednesday for Lost. My mom's surprise birthday party is on Saturday. The secret ingrediant on tonights episode is bacon. I want to do a day where we do a study of bacon and all its different forms.

I was on vacation from work from New Years Day till today. My inbox had over 400 emails and took me an hour to go through. There were two that had any importance. The operations team is a bunch of asshats.

I'm going to shave Josh's head tonight. Hopefully he'll stay asleep when I do it. If he wakes up, I'll just tell him its for science.

I'm having a really rough time getting into the Christmas spirit. I was trying to but found out my dad might not be able to come home before Thursday. He was the only person I bought a present for and I was really excited that I actually found something he would like this year. My dad's in the hospital till Tuesday. The last time I was in Bristol Hospital to see someone sick was my grandfather who was diagnosed with the same thing my dad has. Its been a really crappy day. He probably won't be able to go back to work. My mom won't be able to retire to save her hands (workers comp denied her claim to get surgery). My family ( Read more... )

My mom just called me. My dad went to the dr. yesterday and he was told to go admit himself to the hospital. He went home instead and it took my mom all night to convince him to go.
