...I like this part A a lot (even if I think I'll write a complete review AFTER you post part B too..., then I'll read this again and give a more complete opinion.).
While reading the first part I was like "WTF?!", but the end just made it for me.
And I really loved the power choice...it's not gonna be easy with this kind of power, but he's gonna learn, just like the others did.
I'm curious to see how he's gonna cope though...

Do you mean parts 2 and 3? It's confusing the way I did it, but there are three parts, and this part one I split up even further into A and B. That's probably what you meant, I'm just rambling. xD

The fact that he got this power rather than any other will be quite crucial later on in the story.

I know what you mean. And that makes sense, since all three parts are connected and take place in the same 48 hours or so. Most of it takes place the same night. So it makes sense to review it all at once once everything is complete :)

homg.. shige's going to have it rough soon. i love this chap, full of action and surprises..

i just hope shige's going to be okay with his powers, it seems to me like it's going to hinder him to be with ryo. maybe if he learns to control it? i wish they'd end up alright... ^__^

He has been having a hard time already, but now that Ryo's taking him away from XMA it should get a bit easier...as long as Ryo is not around him x_X Or any other mutant that has their power concentrated in the mind.

He has to learn to control it, right. :)

:D I'm glad you liked it ^^ Things work out in weird ways sometimes. I'm going to mention it next chapter but since this is technically what would have happened if the rest of NEWS didn't find him, Shige would have been the mind control mutant that controlled Ryo. :o
