I met a lovely old lady in a shoe repair shop. I had to get new soles for my brand new kick-ass winter boots because they have these shiny smooth soles - which means that when it gets slippery in winter I'll be inventing a new form of skating in them. That is so cute. It does sound like it's straight out of a fairy tale. And what a sweet old lady to make sure you are going to be okay with your current shoes.

She was amazing and did a beautiful job. Can't wait till the big snowfall comes into town so I can try out my new shoes! :)
