You know, I think if I went back and did math at an elementary school or middle school level, I would so fail as well. The only reason I'm doing so well is because the teacher is so absent-minded and lax that it's hard to fail.
Glad to know I've been keeping her IC. I'm actually glad you think I'm showing her as weak and wimpy, I've gotten so tired of seeing her so powerful and moody in fics, though I blame the anime for that...
In the next ten chapters, he will be pulling away from his reluctance to willingly admit to his feelings. I'm trying to keep with his canon behavior in the manga, which would be a little against him being open about his feelings. But with the Chapter Black saga about to come up in TotN, he's going to go through some changes (Thank you Togashi, for having him be MIA for most of it!).
I haven't entirely hit the whole intimacy part yet, and I know that. There's still 20 chapters left to go, and the last ten will definitely have more of that in it.
Well, there is middle ground between weak and super-powerful. ^_^ I hate it when she's written all jacked-up, too, (ugh!), but she was never weak--either physically or emotionally.
And I quite agree that Hiei is not the type to be open about his feelings--he's never going to be singing "I'm in Love With the Girl" from the rooftops. LOL! But he wouldn't lie to himself about them.
The manga is definitely canon for me. Anime studios take way too many liberties with series and really screw up some key characterizations, IMO.
I hope you will have time to write more soon! There aren't many stories I am following these days. ^_^
True, she never was all that weak. I'll make some adjustments to that in the coming chapters so she doesn't seem all that weak.

I completely agree with you there. After I discovered sites to read manga online and saw how different things were for certain shows, I haven't been able to go back to watching anime. I don't want to see the manga spoiled by the anime anymore.
I will definitely be writing more soon. Now that I just have school to focus on (for the most part), I can go back to updating at least once a week.
