Budapest - Vienna
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful girl in Austria. She fell in love with a prince. So she became empress. But of course this story has no happy ending, because the mother-in-law was an evil, arrogant woman. The girl was called Elisabeth or Sissy.

Prague - Budapest
When we left the metro station, we were both: 'Woow!'. The first thing we saw of Budapest was the house of parliament, it's huge and old ('m Swiss, we don't have lot's of historic and huge buildings here). We of course went to the castle. Hamburg - Prague
We went to Czech Republic's capitol, Prague, next. It was a little odd to be in a country who's language you don't understand at all. It took us quite a long time to get there, due to the delay of a train. In the evening we went to the 'dancing house' which was created by Frank O. Ghery. Berlin - Hamburg
On monday afternoon we arrived in Hamburg. Hamburg is also the most famous German harbour. We spent the rest of the day walking about the city along the river Elbe. The next morning we went to a house called 'Dockland' to watch the sunrise. Unfortunately, the weather turned out to be bad, so we didn't see much of a sunrise. Bensersiel - Berlin
Berlin is the capitol of Germany. It's one of those places where there was made history. We of course went to see the remnants of the wall that divided west and east Berlin during the cold war. There's also an exhibition about those people, who tried to escape the east. It's in some sad way fascinating. There's also the famous checkpoint Charlie. ( Read more... ) -
Amsterdam - Bensersiel
Never heard of Bensersiel before? Believe me, this might be the only time you ever read about it! It's a small village at Germany's north coast very boring with lots of old people. Edinburgh - Harwich - Amsterdam
We spent the whole day on trains from Edinburgh to Harwich and when we arrived there, we first had to search for our hotel. Believe me, you do not need to see Harwich! It's small and unspectacular. It was the first time to stay at a hotel since we had started our journey, and we got overexcited, when we saw the comfy bed and the bath tub.
