You want to know what's crazy? I think I'm going to miss taking higher level math classes a lot when I'm teaching. Maybe I will take summer classes once I'm finished with my education masters and get a masters in math over a couple of years... not necessarily because I want to use it, btu because I love it. It turns out that the woman who told me it wouldn't work to do the Dean's Program in NYC didn't really know what she was talking about. She said that the education department had talked about it and it wasn't going to work, but she was referring to when they talked about it a year and a half ago!
