It's amazing how much we depend on our phones. Today, mine was acting very funny (ie no one could hear me talk and the numbers 3 6 and 9 were making it have a spaz attack). cell phones are the strangest phenomenon.
you know it's getting bad when you start hearing your cell phone ringer in your head when you don't even have your phone with you...

Yeah that's true, I actually think I feel something vibrating in my pocket at times when I don't have it with me.

ALso, it's really sad... Walking around campus, I almost never out of ear shot of someone on the phone. I feel like we don't appreciate our surroundings as much as before the attack of the cell phones... and perhaps I'm just as guilty at this.

we've become so dependant upon our cell phones and ipods we are out of touch with reality. almost as if we're desensitized in a sense.. we'd rather have conversations with our phones then with real people..

it's really sad, i find. it's true what you said though, we're losing touch with everything. our own surroundings, our own self-awareness, what's going on around us..

kudos to technology :/
