Touya was stretched out on Shishi's bed reading a book. His own bed would have been fine, but that Shishi's was a bit softer- something about him being the favorite of their landlady.... and just a plain spoiled brat, for that matter. He sensed Jin before he could tell his friend was on the same floor as he was, and set his book aside, sitting up on the edge of the bed to wait for him. His pulse started racing, and he couldn't help but wonder, after his little chat with Shishi, just how far things would get this visit.

Shishi probably wasn't coming home that night anyway...

After ascending the stairs Jin came to a halt, a little dumbfounded as he glanced from Touya's door to Shishi's. Needless to say, he had expected Touya to be in his own room, especially considering Shishi wasn't even in the house but..
no matter. It made no difference to him.
Grinning from ear to ear, Jin spun around to face where he had sensed Touya's youki coming from, striding towards the door and throwing it open.
"'Ello Touy'!"
Poor innocent Jin, so respective of Touya and Shishi's relationship, they may have made a deal but he was none the wiser.

Touya smiled warmly, a very genuine expression as he stood to cross the room and greet his friend. "Jin! I'm glad you were able to come back so soon. I'd offer to make you some tea, but as you probably already saw, the landlady is downstairs in the tea shop. I can throw something together and we can tuck away in my room."

"S'Alright Touy, don't ye be worryin' yeself 'bout nothin'. I'm not really hungry anyway."
Amazingly, Jin had managed to find food back at the temple, and so it was not necessary to bother Touya for it. Although he did wonder how long it would last..ah well, that was Suzuki's problem now.
As his friend stepped foreward, Jin moved aside to give access to the door, offering Touya a welcoming smile before turning to make his way outside.

He had promised to restrain himself through the duration of this visit, but it was proving to be harder than he thought.

As he passed him, he deliberately let his arm brush lightly against Jin, smiling faintly to himself as he led the way to his own bedroom. "Amazing that you're not hungry. Are you ill?" he teased, in very good spirits now that he felt no need to be conflicted. He waited for Jin to enter before closing the door- but not before hearing the old lady leave downstairs to go to her weekly card night at a friends. She would be gone a very long time.

Perfect. "Anyway, make yourself comfortable."
