Excruciating pain seared own her back as she leaned over in the plus bed, which she laid in before. She knew it wasn’t from the fresh beatings she had received that night. No, she had gotten used to that, but this was different. A gasp slowly escaped from her lips as she slipped off the bed and on her side. Clenching her eyes tightly she felt along ( Read more... )

Walking along the dark sidewalk that very same night, he slowed his pace as he neared a particular alleyway, turning his head to looked around the corner. He felt something--a familiar youki that had been exhausted to no end, almost burnt out.

Upon walking into the alleyway, he noticed the many animals that gathered, some of them fleeing as he approached the girl that was lying in a heap behind the rather repulsive trash cans.

Pausing for a moment to recognize the girl, he found himself slowly kneeling down next to her, paying the animals no notice even when they gave him a vicious look to back off. He wasn't going to do anything... nothing to harm this girl.

"You suffer quite a lot, child. I know how it feels..." he whispered, though mostly under his breath as he gently lifted the neko girl up into his arms, and carried her out of the alleyway, breaking into a flit as he headed somewhere a little nicer--an alleyway, for such a tormented child was not at all suitable.

Her once brown and white hair had fully turned white when he had arrived, cut short above her sholders. White fox ears had replaced the once black cat ears and instead of a black cat tail it was now a white fox tail aswell. Shineing steel wings wrapped around her form, blood running down then and from where they had emerged from her back.

Slowly lavendar orbs opened to look at him, there appearing to be no pupil but just full color iris as she watched him. She listened to what he said, yet did not say anything and allowed him to pick her up. Her eyes began to close as she relaxed somewhat, trying to get over the pain from the wings that had emerged from her back.

Karasu continued to flit through the city,--not in the least bit surprised by her sudden transformation, though a bit amazed, whether he showed it or not--finally reaching the small woods on the outskirts. Stopping in a moonlit clearing, he gently set the girl down next to a small flowing stream, kneeling down next to her to look her over. "Beaten... no doubt." he whispered as he slowly began to tend to the girl's wounds, bandaging them up tightly with some of the material from his coat.

After cleaning and bandaging the girl up, he lifted her up again, walking over to rest her beneath a large willow tree covered in soft vines, nocturnal flowers in full bloom here and there. Placing her hands in her lap, he finally stood, taking another glance down at her before he walked back over towards the stream. It certainly was peaceful--for a place in the ningenkai.

Shallow breaths came from her as she sleep quietly, as all the changes that had happened to her a few hours or so ago seemed to fade away. White hair slowly faded away and was replaced by her normal long brown hair, as her fox ears and tail went back to their normal black cat ears and tail. Metallic wings stayed for the moment before they dissappeared aswell, a tattoo of them imprinted over her scarred back. The actual Kati had no idea what had happened.

[Sorry for the short post..>_>; I had no idea what to do..^^;]

She slowly leaned forward and then came to a standing postion, hand on the tree for support as she looks around the area. "Hn.." Blue eyes slowly closed for a moment before looking at the male who had brought her to this place and flashing a light blue shade before she shook her head, letting out a sigh. "So...I might as well introduce myself.." Letting out a partial laugh she held out her hand. "I'm Kati."

Karasu looked up at the girl after a breif moments pause, then slowly stood as well, turning to face her, his head down.

"Karasu..." he said in return, extending his own hand to shake hers. "...'Tis a pleasure to meet you, Kati."

He looked the girl up and down, as if checking to make sure she should even be standing. The way he had found her... beaten... And then the creature that she transformed into for the short time truly amazed him even now. If she was in the Ankoku Butujutsukai, she would be a tough opponent if she were to transform back again during a battle.

Chuckling softly, he slowly released the girls hand and took a step back, smiling a bit under his mask, "... Maa, I would suppose that you have that you would need to go to that odd ningen place called..." he paused for a moment, as if to think, "...School?" he chuckled again at the very sound of it, "... But under certain circumstances, it might be wise to skip it today. You're really in no condition to waste your time on something so stupid."

Shakeing his hand she nodded her head, blinking at the part where he was saying it was a pleasure to meet her. "Its hardly a pleasure...I'm just lucky to have someone who would actually help me." She sighed and her mood lighted up when he mentioned how stupid school was. "Thats true, but...hm..I suppose I shouldnt waste my time there."

Karsu smirked lightly, a light spark tinting his eyes as the light hit them, "... I know not why you troubled yourself by attending such a place anyway..." he chuckled. "There aren't many youkai who would. Trouble themselves with 'school', that is." he said, pausing shortly afterward.

Looking up to the partly cloudy sky, he slowly shoved his hands into his pockets, watching as the clouds slowly passed over the sun--blocking it from veiw. "Perhaps you have a higher tolerence for such ignorant beings..." he mused aloud.

Karasu narrowed his eyes even more as he watched the girl's eyes, intrigued greatly. "Of course... " he returned with a nod, continuing to watch the girl with interest for an extended moment before turning to walk over to the small lake.

He turned his head to look back at her out of the corner of his eye, "... Get some rest child, you seem to be undergoing quite a lot." he said quietly.

Blue regained control as she fell to her knees, sighing softly and grabbing her head, slowly slideing onto her side as she rested there. 'What in the world is wrong with me..' She thought inwardly, confused as to what was happening to her.

Karasu watched her for a moment longer before walking over to the stream. //Poor child... So young... I suppose that I couldn't even begin to imagine the pain that she is going through...// he thought to himself. and he knelt down next to the clear waters. Listening to it's rapid moving rythm, he gently traced his hand along it's suface, watching the bottom of it as a few jittery fish flit about.

Head trobbing as she tried to sort her thoughts, hearing the yells and cries of many people was something that she wasnt used to. Tail flicking at her side she moved to her back and raised her hand up slightly, blinking as she watched a flame appear in it. "Strange..I dont remember being able to do that before.." Talking to herself was normal for her, yet she didnt realize that people in her would actually be responding to her.
