I once saw a painting by an artist who I believe had "Pierre" in his name that was a very pleasing conglomeration of quadrilaterals in solid colors. Very primeval, and very modern all at once. For the life of me, I cannot find the painting nor his name, but I assume he is affiliated with what is known as "Op Art." Anyway, I changed my journal's ( Read more... )

I looked him up, as well as Victor Vasarely (are they the same person?) and it wasn't him... I don't think I like his/their stuff either... I keep thinking the name is Pierre Monteaux but that is a conductor.

yvaral was vasarely's son. op art is kinda neat to look at usually, but frustrating your cones and rods only goes so far

perhaps get some good letters of recommendation from your temporary employeers to show potential employeers that you dont need the 5+ yrs of experience because you are ready now.
