I did something so stupid tonight. I don't know why I do things sometimes. I went somewhere I shouldn't have gone, for reasons I shouldn't have allowed. And it was (predictably) unpleasant, but that's not even what's bothering me. It's more the motivation that frustrates me. I knew what was going to happen, and I knew how I and others would feel. There's a scene in Kill Bill Vol. 2 where The Bride needs to punch through wood that's directly in front of her, so she starts with her fingers on the wood and then punched it. It's a cool scene, and it's a move that I've taken to doing (with much less force, blood and broken bones), whenever I'm annoyed. I can't imagine how tension-relieving it ( Read more... )

I'm not even sure what the hell to write in here. My friends all have these things, and they've all met people and made friends through them. In fact, when I lived in Los Angeles I dated a girl who threw a party made up entirely of people she met on here, and it was a lot of fun.
