A devious and cunning rat... Rat Outsmarts Scientists

I had a very dark and confusing day yesterday. I actually got lost in central square - I just plum didn't know which direction was which. My glasses were very wet and it was dark. Today, I still have much stress hanging over my head but at least I can remember how to get home.

rat, science

Hurray for that Rat of Nimh. Rasco is a good Rat's name, btw.

I'm sorry you had to play human bumpercars to get back home. Wet glasses suck. I had to jumpstart my car in the rainy dark last night, so driving two vehicles with windows fogged up to the ceiling reminded me of what the world looks like when I first wake up. It was like I was driving submersible rescue robots in the bottom of the Atlantic ocean. OK, enough hyperbole.

Think happy thoughts and stressful work disintegrates into a thousand grains of sand falling through an hourglass. Maybe you have to wait that hour, but at least you'll have yourself to watch while you work on being more like gravity.

Rasco is a good name for a rat.... I should change my name to Rasco the Rat and then my hypothetical rock band RATNIP would be that much more ratical. :)

Man, driving submersible rescue robots would be awesome... although I bet I would find the bathroom situation rather intolerable.

Applying to colleges, and reapplying to MIT, and pondering the changes that next semester will bring are the main sources of stress right now. I'm also about 5000 times more busy than I was last year, and my life requires me to be responsible. So you see it is all good sources of stress. I am doing a bit better since Peter took me to Finale's and bought me the orgasmically good chocolate cake. Still stressed but feeling much happier as a result.

thank you muchly for your kind words. I am trying to fill myself with thoughts of flowers and trees and ferns and cute little cup fungi and kittens. *mmmm calmness*

Since submersible robots are small and generally flown by wire, I think you'd find the potty options on the mothership quite acceptable...certainly better than at the Forrest Hills T stop.

Chocolate, chocolate - now I know you're not a canine. Don't chase those calmness kittens away.

I was going to say, I hope it was already dead and they found it and decided to use it to attract rats, but that is also sad.

I like it when animals outssmart humans--reminds we're not as all powerful as we frequently think we are.
I'm sorry you had a dark and confusing day. love
