Day 52, mid morningIt would be good to enjoy another day or so of vacation before setting up shop in the clinic. Besides, Gisela didn't seem very found of the idea. I wonder what that was all about. She asked if I had ever died before. Maybe the other me died from a terrible disease caught from a patient she was trying to heal. That kind of thing

True to her word, I found Gisela waiting for me just outside the kitchen. She was cradling an apple a little possessively. Maybe I should get her a fruit basket sometime. Maybe she is on her way to getting scurvy. I wonder is she is a sailor here. Hmmm
