You know, I hadn't heard of second life in a couple years (I think). I downloaded it again to see how it would do on the new 'puter. Guh, the whole thing is so confusing. All the old places I used to go don't exist anymore and I don't know where anything or anyone is.

Does anyone have a clue, realy?

I popped on there for a bit recently when a friend of mine mentioned he spent a fair amount of time there, but it still seems as laggy and dull as ever.

I joined Second Life for the first time a few weeks ago and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. The controls are too complicated and over-thought. Someone needs to go in and simplify the game mechanics to make it worthwhile.

Not me, I just wander around and watch my avatar wag now and then. *wag*

I do, but you'd have to pay me to put it on my computer again. I used to leave it running and dance to make money, and cashed out like, $10 a week or so doing this or that with it in my spare time. It wasn't worth even that, though. The gimmick of running around as my own custom furry avatar was fun for a little while, but I didn't find merit to any of the content and every single interaction was frustrating and cumbersome.
