Today is the 50th birthday of Stephen Harper, our P.M., and somebody went and 'flamingoed' 24 Sussex Drive (the official residence).
HEE!
(according to the news, it was his staff that did the deed. Some of them were joking about having to look for a new job if Harper got upset. He didn't). -
Floods in Manitoba
I'm a little worried. The news just said that we're now expecting the second worse flood ever, only 1997 being worse. Thank heavens for the Floodway, and I'm crossing my fingers for all those who have to have sandbag dikes built ( Read more... ) -

I learned today that I've been lucky enough to snag a free book as an Early Reviewer on LibraryThing.
