I have still not heard back about the job and frankly, I am going a little mad. Friends tell me that background checks can take a couple of weeks. Last Friday I had an interview with YouthCare for a position as shelter program manager. There are two program manager positions available. One is in the youth shelter with clients ages 12-17. A neighbor, family member, and friend of mine died last weekend. It was a total shock. He died of a heart attack in the middle of the night at the age of 53.
