- September - The Disney trip was awesome, we had a wonderful time despite our flight getting canceled and having to drive at the last minute. At least we didn't have to miss a full day and a half of vacation like we would have if we had waited for the next available flight. And we did get a full refund on our tickets. Andrew found out about Santa last year. We pretty much had the same conversation. I made him swear not to ruin it for his brother, and not to tell anyone at school because a lot of kids his age still thought Santa was real. We joke and say "You won't receive unless you believe" and he winks at us. LOL you did the right thing. Some of my friends were horrified that I was honest with him (like you were) and said I should have kept it going longer until he was older. No way. He's a smart kid, and he knew better. I'd rather be honest!

I'm laughing here at the story about her rolling down the window to tell a boy she's going to kiss him. Hahahahahah!! You are in for it. :-p

When I told my mother about her knowing the truth now mom told me I did the right thing and I think she made a good point. She said "if she knows you are honest about the little things, she'll know she can trust you to be honest with her about the big things in life" I still hate that she seems a little disappointed that he's not real. She was also a little disappointed when we had to explain that the wands in Olivanders at Universal weren't really magic. She really wanted one and when we questioned her about why she wanted one, she was like "Cause I could clean my room with that thing, and I could turn on lights with it." and we had to explain that , that was just in the movies, the ones sold at shops didn't do that stuff. They were just a fancy stick. I feel like I'm stealing all the magic from her little world. But hopefully I'll be able to point out the real magic (friendships, ( ... )
