Friday I went to Sam's Club and had new tires installed. I was surprised at how quick it was; it took less than an hour for the shop to mount, balance, and install them. They weren't as expensive as I thought they'd be, either. My choices were Goodyear or BFGoodrich. I chose the BFGoodrich because they are a better tire and a friend recommended ( Read more... ) -
New AC in the Accord
Today, my parents finally fronted the money to get the air conditioner in the Honda. It had needed it since late June, but I ran into the sticker shock dad gets and the 'we have no money' that both of my parents tend to have whenever an expensive repair is in order. Mom is moving along. She's alive and well, and moving about; today she went to do a little bit of grocery shopping with a friend of hers. I believe she changes chemotherapy doses next treatment date. Fall weather continues; mother is over the pneumonia, and AT&T U-verse!
The fall weather is persisting. I am constantly wearing my fleece jacket when I am outside or the house gets chilly to keep warm. It's rained off and on consistently since my last entry, and I haven't seen any sign of the weather patterns changing. Fall has arrived; mom has pneumonia
Fall has arrived! The equinox was September 22nd, and weather patterns have changed from laid back, cool summer weather to chilly fall weather.
