It seems there are enough people with copies of my stories, so it's not so bad. At least that won't be lost.

I have no idea what their idea of fun is, but apparently, there was also something about keyloggers? (I'm just beginning to learn all the details myself.)

I've always been such a fan of all of your stuff and I'm so sad that all of this happened to such a cool person. I'm pretty sure fandom would do anything to help you out right now if you asked so don't stress too much about it. I hope everything can be recovered (Just think of it as a re-release, like Disney movies and really good indie records) and even if you can't get all the history and the comments back our fandom is so awesome that you know we'll end up replacing them with even better comments. ♥ feel better miss ♥

If you post a master list of stuff you wrote and then ask people to respond with any backups they have, crossing them off as you go, I'm sure you can get proper copies of anything you're missing (and you'll feel all accomplished as the list diminishes!)

I already have quite a large proportion of it all, I think. I probably will make a list like that, though - it sounds like something to make me feel like it's all less of a mess!

Thank you so, so much! And, you know, it's rather true: Fandom has been incredible about this, and I've been sokaing up love and hugs and kisses, and it's made this whole thing suck a lot less. I still mourn all my lost entries and comments (also comments I made in other people's LJs!), but hey, I'll live. Am living and dealing, and it's okay. They can't keep me down so easily!
