managed to sleep eventually. got up at 7am despite my best efforts not to. got to work, as planned, at 10:30am. day started mild and easy, then progressed to a ticket grinding hell the likes of which I have never seen. the bar was packed, the glassware was dirty and had to be re-washed by hand, the server-ticket machine was an endless
