The social was good times :) I wish you were feeling better so you could enjoy your holidays more. If nothing else get lots and lots of REST! I have to wait until the end of July for my holidays :( But atleast the weather will be awesome then and Im pretty excited to go see that Frank Ghery building.

It's a Prairie-thing - basically it's a big party that gets thrown before a wedding, with the traditional goal of raising money for the wedding itself.

pretty much what phrawzty said.

rent a hall/location
get prizes for raffle
invite as many friends/family to come out party
make $$$.

:) ingenious idea actually. you can make some prety good cash.

I like that Eric feller. He's good people. We were actually just talking about him this morning (his departure letter, inserting the how to properly wash your hands picture thingy). Will probably see him at Folk Fest again this year under the Gandalf statue his site always puts up.

Enough about that dude though, thanks for the update :). Yayy to May holidays!! I picked up the last 2 weeks of May myself.

If you've never been to FF, then for sure, you definitely do have to check it out at least one time in your life (even if you're not a folkie).

Last 2 weeks of May for my holidays will be me hanging out with the Mrs., the newborn and my other two lil' 'uns.
