Poll Which show should I try for in September?I could probably do the CC show + one of the others, assuming I could get Ash to go with me to Philly. of the other two shows, the easier one would be Live et al; it's much closer to home and it's on a Saturday. the Hinder show is in York on a Wednesday - I'd probably have to fight to get the night off, and then I'd get to deal with rush hour ( Read more... )

All I can tell you is that I saw Live live once (heh) and it was by far the #1 most boring show I've ever been to.

Live's pretty good well, live lol. They kinda do just sit there and play their music, but they squeeze in as much of their stuff as possible. Breaking Benjamin I saw at a festival once and they were pretty cool. I like Three days Grace and Collective Soul, but I don't know if I like Three Days Grance enough to warrant spending money on them. I'll sing when it comes on the radio, but as far as buying, I'm not that impressed with them.

Plus did I mention I hate Hiner....but I do love me some Buckcherry. I liked Buckcherry back BEFORE the lead singer went to jail, when I was in middle school. And Papa Roach is from my home town, they're awesome! I saw them live a bunch before they got big and several times after that, man they have come a long way. If only that concert was another band besdes Hinder...

yeah, I suppose so :P I'll talk to Ash and see what she thinks, as she's the person I'd likely go with. generally unless I have company, I don't really want to drive 2 hours for a show.

I'd choose option 2; I really like Live and Collective Soul, and Seether's OK. I've barely heard of the bands in the other shows.

that's what I'm leaning towards, too.. the hassle of going to York on a weekday during rush hour for a big concert like that just doesn't do it for me :P

I'm only familiar with Live and Collective Soul. I wouldn't mind seeing Live, but don't know how much I'd be willing to pay for the privilege. As for Collective Soul... *runs screaming* Oh noes! Makes it goes awayesess! We hates it, we does!
