Empathy, limited telepathy, psionic abilities and godmod-ish levels of computer knowledge are all on the list of Shiroe's Special Abilities, and three out of four of those things could significantly impact how he acts around your character. So it would be nice to know if you wouldn't mind him making inquiries, or if you'd like him to gtfo already ( ( Read more... )

Telepathy: It's okay, but not likely if it's based off skin-contact. Frau usually stays covered since touching his skin would reveal the cold of death. If he managed though, Frau's thoughts would be rather guarded.
Empathy: Sure, go ahead. He feels things strongly, but can usually keep them hidden pretty well. His anger can be explosive though.
Hacking: Technology is very new to Frau. His abilities are limited, meaning he's totally hackable.

HOW HAVE I NOT ANSWERED THIS? I could have sworn I did. It's so relevant to Joker.

Telepathy: No walls. However, his madness sometimes acts as such. The most powerful psychics of the DCU have extreme difficulty penetrating his mind, others find it impossible. It's basically like sticking your head into an oven full of bees. That are on fire. There are tons of thoughts buzzing around constantly, all of them awful. If he senses someone is trying to read him he'll fight back. He actually managed to trap a "demi-god" in his own head this way. Sooo basically...He can be read. But reading him may not be wise?
Empathy: Joker is made out of loud, over-the-top emotions so fire at will. He'd have no defenses against this. His emotions may sometimes feel overwhelming due to how passionate he is. Joker, consumed by anguish or anger, could probably be felt across the island. Not always CLEARLY, but felt.
Hacking: Joker is pretty good with computers but not at the top of his game. Professional hackers could probably get into his shit. I'd say "no ( ... )

Telepathy: There is a cloud of static-like white noise around him, soft and sort of pleasant at first, but as you push though that, it gets bumpy, more turbulent. Underneath that however? He's blank. Almost like hitting a void. I don't think Shiroe is powerful enough to push passed that. He'd have to be Charles Xavier's level.
Empathy: He's trying to better hid his emotions, and certainly a lot of the physic level are behind thought shields BUT. His eyes, the tension in his jaw, how still his hands are, his posture, etc all give away how he's feeling. Surface emotions would also be very easy to read.
Hacking: Anything listed as 90% or more unhackable check with me first. Mags is very, extremely, good with computers. He's not a technopath but they exist in his world and he takes precautions. Also, if he finds out Shiroe hacked ANYTHING medical related? He's telling Daedalus. Even if it's an accident. Even if he KNOWS it's an accident.

Deeefinitely not at Xavier's level. Ahah.

But got it, on the hacking point! He... may one day creep into some post, so I will definitely drop you a PM if he does.

No problem! Really Mags wouldn't mind playing games of hacking with Shiroe, either.

Doooon't say that, because Shiroe would definitely want to. He's a brat when he gets bored. x3;;

Telepathy: Yes, that's fine. Artemis hasn't ever met another telepath, so he has no idea that he could/should guard his head. Probably a lesson he might want to learn around here.
Empathy: What Artie does guard are his emotions, they're very quiet and suppressed.
Hacking: Artie is not tech savvy at all, he doesn't even consider how he uses his NV to be tech, which makes me wonder how that would interact with the filtering aspect. IDK I guess we can decide if it ever comes up.
