Empathy, limited telepathy, psionic abilities and godmod-ish levels of computer knowledge are all on the list of Shiroe's Special Abilities, and three out of four of those things could significantly impact how he acts around your character. So it would be nice to know if you wouldn't mind him making inquiries, or if you'd like him to gtfo already ( ( Read more... )

Filling this for Tyrell here only because it's relevant/Franziska is BORING HUMAN, etc.

Telepathy: It's been shown that in canon he can tell when people are invading his mind/reading his thoughts, but that he can't stop it... so yes, but he will probably feel that's something's off and freak, run around in circles, try to make it stop even though he has no idea how, etc.
Empathy: He's pretty much an open book, yo! Is happy when he's happy, sad when he's sad, angry when he's angry and you wouldn't ordinarily need an empath for any of it. One thing of note though is that there is a deeply buried level of despair in his life that Tyrell doesn't like showing very often. But it's definitely there!
Hacking: Now this is totally fine, if it ever comes up. He doesn't even know how to use his own NV properly... and has no desire to learn how to do so. DERP.

Telepathy: It's cool by me! No mental wall here. He's not used to the possibility of others reading his thoughts.
Empathy: Also fine! While on the outside he has a cocky, cold personality going inside Shiroe would find quite a lot of anger, frustration, and a healthy dose of longing.
Hacking: N/A... yet.

Telepathy: That's fine! Her thoughts aren't that well-guarded, and her dreams are definitely vulnerable to being invaded as she's still discovering her powers that come from those. But her memories would probably be a bit jumbled for him to read (she has two timelines/realities in her head).
Empathy: That's fine, too. She likes to keep her emotions to herself or lie about them, but she feels very strongly!
Hacking: Go for it. She's not the most tech-savvy to begin with.

Telepathy: I don't mind, but Emma's a major-league telepath with shields to match, so I don't think it's likely to work.
Empathy: Mmmm.... Again, I don't mind. This really depends on how tight Emma's shields are at the moment. She can stop any and all emotions from showing through her shields, but she generally doesn't. She's a lot more emotional than she usually pretends to be.
Hacking: Anything she sends encrypted should have a filter level. Her stuff is hackable and she knows it; hacking other people's filters should be per their permissions.

Telepathy: Sure, it's okay. Garr does have high Willpower but no actual resistance to psionics, and there don't seem to be proper telepaths running around in his world either. So he'd put up a fight if he were aware of it, and he has loads of self-discipline, but no real experience with noticing/resisting telepathy.

Empathy: Also okay! He feels things pretty strongly, it's just his exterior expressiveness that's rather muted compared to most people.

Hacking: Okay again. :3 Garr has no tech skills at all. His NV has some basic security options built-in, but anyone with any significant hacking skill can handle it.
