And so, trapped in Afghanistan with little to do, I shall now proceed to hopefully finish a NaNo this year!

This time, we're going in the (slightly cracked) fantasy route, in line with classics such as "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" or "Princess Bride."

My poor Dragon died yet again today. It started with some random power-troubles, the mouse would occasionally stop working, and such things, and then it would just start turning off randomly...and now it just wont turn on, period ( Read more... )

In the meantime, I've decided I'm going to start NaNo early this year, as I'm going to be ending early (26th-27th of November being my cutoff). Tropical Storm Ernesto is currently due east of me. Its arms are currently whacking Fayetteville and as far north as Raleigh.
And I'm about to drive north, right alongside it, to Raleigh.

I've gotta be nuts.

my crap has arrived, and I've got it all, save for the computer stuff, unpacked. Oh, and one of my uniform bags. But aside from that...its all done, I just need to take downt he massive amounts of trash. My room looks so homey now. I like it.Though the Gundam and Y-Wing and mechs dont work too well with the Wolves all over...
