No posts for a long while, sorry.

We had to redo the strawberry planter. The central plant survived a frost, but the rest did not. It was like pulling apart the world's biggest hairball.

New tech toy, Ipad from work.

First tulip up. I have iris foliage all over the place, but no blooms yet

Not motivated to stitch these days, as kids have broken up the stitch group. Current project, of many, is a green bag

The red feral is in Nevada now. After putting out food, we tamed him to the point where I was able to pet him and pick him up. We managed, with the help of a pillowcase, to get him into a carrier, and our landlords took him to a horse farm where he'll be a barn cat away from the traffic that got his littermate ( Read more... )

We currently have two feral kitties living under the landlord's porch. One is a red tom, the other is a calico, and his mother. There is another littler probably on the way. These cats have proven that they can clean all the tuna from a trap and not set it off, so we're not having any luck getting them.

We tend not to do the tourist things unless folks visit. We're nerds. Our idea of a good time is watching bad monster movies and beating things up in City of Heroes. This weekend, my folks are visiting ( Read more... )
