I was thinking about the story of Charlie and the Chocolate factory the other day and never really understood what the fuck was wrong with his weak ass grandparents. I mean seriously...Grandpa Joe seemed to do just fine when he got his lazy ass out of bed so its not like he had cancer or some shit. If I was Charlie's mom I'd be fuckin pissed off ( Read more... )

It's a big pity party for knobby knees...would you want to get out of bed if your legs hadn't moved for years and your diet consisted of soggy, lukewarm cabbage? I mean, there were some babes in that bed too..don't get me wrong.

I totally love the Mr. Bucket idea, it made me chortle, but then I supressed it.

I always hated that part in the original film with Gene Wilder when Grandpa Joe gets up after he wins the tickets. If I was Charlie's mom I would've kicked the cane out from under him and said "get your ass back into that giant pissy bed. Trust and believe you aren't going to enjoy quite possibly the only good thing that has ever happened to this family, while my used to be fine ass is here doing laundry, you must think I'm some other sorta bitch. Uh-uh nigga, you've been triflin' and useless before this and you will be triflin and useless next Sunday at 3pm sharp when Charlie and I tour that motherfuckin factory." I might kick him in the side while he was laying on the ground wailing as well, just to let those other malingering three bastards know just what will happen when they conveniently "heal".

Couldn't we get sued by Roald Dahl? Remember that lady who tried to write the answer to Gone With The Wind called The Wind Done Gone, which was the slaves perspective, and Megan Mitchell's estate SUED to keep it from getting published (which they won by the way). Is Roald Dahl still alive? I heard his editors basically wrote all of his books. What a dumb name Roald Dahl is, it sounds like the name of a really fat cat.
