This semester is off to an incredible start. And by incredible, I mean not at all incredible and in fact kind of stressful and shitty. I say this in context of everyone, not just myself, though I am experiencing anxieties also, which contribute to this spring of two-thousand-and-eight being a Woodstock-class ball-tastic-festival.

The semester has started. I’m just now realizing this, for sure. I’m sitting outside of my Evolution class, waiting for it to start, and making resolutions to myself about this semester. It is like a scab I keep picking at. Derrick is totally right. I keep picking at the scab because I know there used to be healthy skin underneath, and I don't want to wait and see if it heals on its own. It is JUST like a scab.
