It's a relief to have those damned staples out of my leg. He wasn't too sure about taking them out of the big incision since it's still partially open. He ended up taking them out and wrapped that part of my leg in an ace bandage to keep my brace from constantly rubbing against it. thanks! Yeah, I haven't walked since the beginning of Sept. It really sucks. They also were tossing the subluxate word around for me too. I think the final diagnosis was that I did subluxate the kneecap, which lead to the tear, but I don't know.
You may have torn the ACL, I was talking to a woman who was observing my therapist the other day, and she said her son tore his ACL, and no one could find anything wrong for awhile, but his knee kept giving out. When I first went to the Orthopedic Surgeon, he explained that it's an extremely common injury that often goes undiagnosed, until it gives out on you and you actually do damage to the cartilage.
Thanks for the tip on the stretching! I'll def. keep that in mind.
I remember you having a lot of problems with finding a decent PT. I'm glad you were finally successful.
