We're getting settled in our new place, or at least as much as we can without all our stuff. Hopefully everything will get here sometime next week. The only internet access I have at the moment is my Blackberry so if you need to reach me Facebook or texting is probably the best option. I miss all my Dallas peeps but I am glad to be back with Travis

First off thank you to all my girls who came out last night. I had an awesome time.
Movers are currently packing everything. Should be done in a few hours. Hitting the road for CA on Thursday. Can't wait. I'll miss my friends in Dallas but I'm happy to be getting to be with Travis again. I'll post again with a mailing address once we get settled.

The Holidays are upon us and thus my life becomes chaos itself for the next month or so. Tonight I am going on a baking binge. I'm baking cookies for Travis's holiday lunch tomorrow at work and then another batch for Thanksgiving dinner with the family on Thursday. Things have been going well the past few weeks. Elizabeth and I are getting into a routine and that is making life easier. Also her sleeping pattern has calmed down. Most nights she is going to sleep around 10pm and then waking up around 4am. Some nights, and hopefully these will increase, she goes from 10 until around 6. Today was a very big day. Not only did Elizabeth manage to sleep thru the night last night (down around 10:30ish, woke up around 5:20ish), but we had our first road trip. Elizabeth is two weeks old today. Later tonight my Dad and stepmom are coming into town and staying for the next week. Tomorrow we will be getting together with my aunt and uncle (my Dad's older brother and his wife) for lunch at La Mad. Eliza has been doing well. Travis and I are pleased to announce the birth of our daughter, Miss Elizabeth Anne Phelps at 7:43pm on July 29, 2009. She weighs 7lbs. 4oz. and measures 21 inches in length. All in all, a good sized, healthy, little girl. She is the joy of our life and we can't wait to get to know her.

So we have had an interesting past few days. We were hoping to have a scheduled induction today but because I'm not 41 weeks it is still considered an elective procedure so I was told I could still be bumped if there was not space after all the medical inductions got dibs. I'm back to being tired at various points during the day. This is all perfectly normal, considering I am, as of yesterday, 9 months pregnant. Unfortunately it is also terribly inconvenient.
