ARGH THE UPDATING FONT IS DIFFERENT!

Livejournal is starting to get a bit out of hand with all the "new and exciting features" crap. Then again, I don't check it too often and I update exponentially less, so I suppose it's not much of an issue ( Read more... )

I looked up amaroK and apparently it's for KDE. I'm definitely not running KDE.

You don't need to be running KDE -- you just need to install a few of the KDE libraries.

Anyway, I happened to read down a bit after your most recent post and saw this entry and figured I'd comment since I am indeed currently reading this :). Also, while skimming this post, I saw:

"Currently I'm leaning towards installing tabbott"

My first thought was... you're installing tabbott? Then I finished reading the sentence :)

Don't you know that tabbott is a tab-bot? I don't want to keep pressing the tab key myself, I want him to do it for me. That's why I'm installing (why I installed?) tabbott.

hey, i always read. don't always comment... but then again, i'm not a real genius in the technological department so i don't really have much to say on, say, linux.

*laughs* OH GOD THE FRESHMEN! that's tomorrow for me. i'm avoiding them as much as possible, even though their confusion is rather amusing.

I want to socialize with our freshmen because they're, you know, our freshmen, and you're supposed to socialize with them. That being said, I don't *actually* want to socialize with them. It's a bit awkward.

i shall socialize with them when they're through the "O_O OMFG I'M AT COLLEGE!!!!" phase. that'll be sooner for some than others, obviously.
