❚TAGS?
→ To make your life easier, tags are located here. You can search by series (for the most part) and what kind of stuff you're looking for.
❚REQUIREMENTS?
→ I require (at least) a $10 purchase prior to shipping.
❚E-CHECKS AND ITEM-HOLDING?
→ I do not accept e-checks. I've had too many issues with people using e-checks and backing out after I send the item or throwing a fit when it's taken eight days to process and I didn't ship before then. If you need an item held for a little while, please feel free to ask me and I will be more than happy to wait for you to get some money in your paypal or bank account, within reason. :)
❚OKAY, WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
→ Paypal is the preferred (and safest) way. You are also expected to pay paypal fees. You can find the calculator I use to determine them here. I may consider concealed cash (under $50), money order (postal versions only) or personal checks. If you're sending it any way other than paypal, I charge an extra $5 for the inconvenience.
❚SHIPPING INFO/PRICES?
→ I only ship to the United States. Over the years I've been selling on LJ (and eBay) I've had too much trouble shipping internationally for it to be worth my time.
Anyway. Shipping for the first item is $4.00 and includes delivery confirmation & tracking (unless it's heavier/bigger). $4 covers 3 doujinshi; beyond that, I'll give you a quota. If you get a large number, I'd probably go with priority flat-rate.
❚SHIPPING TIME?
→ It can take me up to a week (very rare) to ship. I tend to work at least six days a week from 8AM until 6PM (sometimes earlier, sometimes later), so I can't always make it to the post office on time. I will attach your delivery confirmation/tracking to your paypal transaction and paypal will email you with the details. If for some reason I am delayed beyond a week, I will contact you to let you know and will most likely refund your shipping cost because that's how I roll. :)
❚WILL YOU SCAN SOMETHING?
→ My scanner unfortunately doesn't work and b&w artwork doesn't show up on my camera. I can try, but please do not waste my time with this.
❚CONDITION OF ITEMS?
→ Good shape unless otherwise noted (new, lightly used, crappy, etc.). Some video games and DVDs may have cosmetic damage (scratches, smudging, etc.), but all are playable. In addition, I am not responsible for an item once it has been shipped. I am honest about the condition of the items before you buy them from me; if they are damaged in transit, it is not my fault and I will not refund you -- please note that this is one of my terms of sale. I will do my best to make sure that items are cushioned and marked fragile, do not bend, etc. when necessary, but beyond that I cannot do anything to stop a disgruntled postal worker from manhandling a package. Sorry. :(
❚DISCOUNTS/HAGGLING?
→ Absolutely! If you want something for less than it is priced, please feel free to negotiate, but don't be a jerkhole. I try to look around and check on prices every now and then to make sure I'm cheaper than any alternative place you could buy these!
❚WHY IS YOUR STUFF SO CHEAP?
→ I'm not really into fandom(s) any longer -- it's mostly a time thing (in that I don't really have any free time anymore!). All of this stuff is hanging around in plastic storage tubs for safe-keeping. I'm also planning on moving across the country and going back to school within the next year, which is going to make it difficult to keep or move these things!
At this point, I've given up on trying to break even and the prices you see are, after some thought, what I decided on as the least I'd accept for any given item.
❚FEEDBACK?
→ I stopped asking people to do it more than a few years ago. This is my selling journal and I try not to have all the fandom stuff in it connected to my personal one, but if it's required, I can PM you with a link you to (also old-ish) feedback of mine at bpal_feedback, bpal.org, or my eBay account (current-ish!).
❚SWAPPING, PARTIAL SWAPS, OR TRADING?
→ Only for BPAL or maybe art commissions (pencil with fixative, inked, and/or colored; physical copies only), but please do not be offended if I say "no." Regarding swaps: I know my prices are waaaaaaay low, so I'd require a little more effort on your end, I guess? Whatever, let's talk about it!!
