• At 6:12 p.m., a caller from the 10000 block of Travertine Court reported an unknown person had cut threatening words into her backyard with a chain saw. Deputies responded and there was no vandalism. The caller said she would see her doctor to change her medication.

School has been going well. I thought I was doing worse in my Physics class than I should be, but then I was reminded that 80% is an A in that class, which puts me at a high B. In theory I should be in GV some time tomorrow. We intend to spend Saturday at the Fair. This will be a short trip though, and a bit complicated.

Looks like I need a soundcard, as the built in one on my new motherboard is too new, and is therefor not supported yet. Fortunately they aren't that expensive, but still it's annoying, and probably means a drive to Burbank.

Still no 3d, and no sound either, effectively anyway. Everything seems to want to use the legacy oss stuff, which requires /dev/dsp, which doesn't exist on my system and I don't seem to be able to create it. So, I continue to fight it.
