Big Block Of Cheese

Andrew Jackson, in the main foyer of his White House had a big block of cheese. The block of cheese was huge --- over two tons. And it was there for any and all who might be hungry. Jackson wanted the White House to belong to the people, so from time to time, he opened his doors to those who wished an audience.... It is in the spirit of Andrew ( Read more... )

::Is amused by your choice of music:: ^_^

Well, I have to say firstly...CONGRATULATIONS ON LOSING SOME POUNDS TONY!!!! now, combine that with 'walks on the beach' and you will be laughing. You must be feeling damn fine and fit..keep it up, this is only the beginning *hugs*

I agree with both what you said and what your co-worker suggested. The world goes through her own climatic change, and nothing we can do can stop that. However, we are aggrivating the situation with our thoughtless pollution. I watched a report last night about how the ice-caps are melting at an alarming rate, much quicker than the scientists first anticipated.
Bottom line is, we are blessed to be on this planet. Just as life goes through it's ups and downs, so does the earth. Some things, people will just never agree on, and scientists will never agree on the cause and affects of pollution and global warming.

And I hope this cheese you are talking about is vintage :P

Oh, this cheese is tasty indeed.

I agree with you Fi. We certainly don't help matters. I think this is a particularly bad time for the planet to go through what were putting it through.

*gives you some cheese*

That's quite a regimen you've kept up. I barely have enough disipline to eat and sleep regularly...

Anyway, as per the global warming issue, I'll agree with you to a point. The only thing that truly infuriates me is the way our current government administration is taking absolutely no measures to cut back on pollution, clean-ups or resource management, or made any effort to research the effects or likelihood of global warming in cooperatin with other nations. And that's all I'm going to say about that. Cheese is good. :d

Yeah, our current administration has been mostly neglegent concerning the environment. Sacrificing the environment for quick fixes isn't going to help us in the long run. They really need to start doing more research like you mentioned. Seriously, I think mankind is smart enough to figure out a way to create a more efficient society in which we aren't harming our environment. Oil companies would go out of business though.

Do you ever wonder what oil is there for? I mean, there has to be a reason that oil exists. What if oil were the lifeblood of our planet?
