Yesterday, Mik and I babysat little David, an autistic four year old up the road. Minutes after meeting him, he runs up to Michael with a huge grin and exclaims, "Biiiiiiiig Michael!"

Oh, I'm going to miss Camelot...such a great group of kids, volunteers, and memories.

Once again, I managed to get myself completely soaking wet at the party today. You get some curious glances walking around the mall like that. :)

In an effort to impress upon my four year olds yesterday the importance of putting the whole face in the water when floating, I threw in a whole bunch of plastic toy fish, sharks, dolphins, alligators, etc. and encouraged them to "snorkel" and look for the fish underwater. I not only like this book because of its subject matter, but because I've found Franz Liszt to be, apart from the greatest pianist the world has ever known, equally impressive as a writer.
