I love making decisions. I like the theory (though I can't remember what it's called) that every time we make a decision, consciously or unconsciously, the world splits and one of our selves go one way, the other another. I'm sure there must have been books written about that, where someone meets their alternate self, and I definitely heard of a film with that concept once, but I don't know what it was called either.

I love that movie. It's with Gwyneth Paltrow and it's called Sliding doors

That's not the one I was thinking of; in the one I was thinking of a man gets on a plane and finds himself sitting next to himself.

But that film sounds great too! Thanks! :-)

This kind of reminds me of Newton's Law: for Every Action there is an Opposite and Equal Reaction. (Law #2? I believe? Been a long time since I took physics)

Apparently something in your life is out of whack and the spiral (can be self-perpetuating) works against you. What set you off in the first place? Or is it a multitude of little things that just got overwhelming? It could be anything in your life. You can overcome this. You're strong.

It's not the decision making process that is bothering you. That's just a symptom and response. (Like a coping mechanism).

I dunno. Sometimes I pull things out of my ass. But really, you'll have to do some inner searching. Unless you already know..?

Take care. My thoughts are with you. :)

i think you're right, it is a multitude of things, but actually i was trying to decide on which mp3 player to get. The whole thing started me on generalizing as i tend to do.

This morning I decided not to go to the gym. I was tired, and my boy was snuggly and going out of town this evening. We stayed in bed instead.

It wasn't the worst choice.

Maybe you need to make a few really easy choices to get your confidence back....

Cake or death?
