Getting Back to Being Creative
I'm trying to get myself out of the habit of watching too much tv and back to my art table. I finally did something I really should have done three years ago - I left Stanford, at least temporarily. Taking time away from grad school is lifting a huge weight off of my shoulders. I was just too burned out to do any more work on my thesis, plus I got ( Read more... ) -

The cast is OFF off OFF off! But my muscles turned to jello and I still can't put my full weight on my right leg. I can't walk either because I have maybe 10% of range of motion in my ankle. So it's time for physical therapy, which I start next week. I really hope that I can walk by the end of the month because there are walks to take, a bike to ( Read more... ) -
That Look
So, I'm getting used to my cast. I feel like my broken and dislocated ankle (aka the reason why I'm so inactive lately) has started to heal up, I hope. But one of things I really hate is getting around on crutches. It's hard - I have to hunch over and make sure I keep my balance. Opening doors is a problem. So is going up and down stairs.
