I've been thinking about quitting Denny's, as everyone's received huge cuts in hours. But, I think instead of getting a new job, I'm gonna volunteer at the Red Cross, and help out with the relief efforts. Ahh, I've been so busy with work. We just had two people quit last week. They were dating. Gee, was it related? Oh well. Regardless, tonight was my first night making over $100 in tips, so I'm pretty jazzed about that. Plus, my paycheck is gonna rock when I get it tomorrow.

Its been a while since I've posted, it seems. Things are going ok, I've just been working a lot, it seems, and with nothing interesting to report. I had a very fun day today. Valerie & Aria woke me up via the phone at about 11:30, and I went over at about 1 to play some DDR. It was a blast. Then Erin came over, and the fun continued for about 3 hours total. I was all sweaty-like, but it was just so much fun ( Read more... )

Ya know, I've learned that the internet really has nothing interesting about Buddhism. I still know that someday, I'll get out of here and join a temple. Even after all this time. I don't have to. But I will.

Hmph. Daylight Savings Time. Did we really let our schools close because we wanted to get back that one extra hour of our days? Did we ignore the education budget in favor of time that was already there? Dammit. What are we letting ourselves become?
