Well I got hosed this morning. Turns out my domain registration was 2 days overdue and I had no idea, since I'd not seen any reminder messages lately. So I dug up one of my older laptops that can't do much more than hit the web. I'm going blind trying to use the 'good machine' thru the television, UGH. It's blurry and I can't read the tiny type from this distance. But at least for now when the TV is in use I can do some basic things on this POS ( Read more... ) -

For the second time in less than two years, my laptop screen has died on me. In Spring 2007, the death of my Thinkpad A31 prompted the purchase on eBay of the Inspiron 9300 that just crapped out on me tonight. All of a sudden, BLACK SCREEN!! And while I'm on the subject of the Virgin Radio Classic Rock stream, I just have to say that I love this station. They dust off the REALLY buried tracks. I have certainly NEVER heard a U.S. radio station play Pink Floyd's 'Remember A Day', it just doesn't happen. And I happen to like pre-Dark Side PF. They'll play tracks from Free that AREN'T 'All ( Read more... )
