there's really no reason to dwell on things. time and life always goes on. time doesn't stand still for anyone. no matter how bad things get, you're still alive. there's always going to be a tomorrow. the only thing being sad accomplishes is making others sad, and keeping you dwelling on the same thing. being sad just makes you think more, which ( Read more... )

i love you in a totally heterosexual way

i enjoy finding people that think further than the ignorance that infests the people around us

i always knew you were different than most

never forget you are a good person
and deserve everything

it will come in time

What you just wrote about it something I refer to as logic.
But, there's the unexplainable phenomena that occurs when people are in a time/situation of crisis/troublement no matter how insignificant or significant the problem is. They tend to lose their ability to reason and make stupid decisions. At the time, they'll make decisions that'll benefit them for the time being and never mind about the outcome or what'll happen in the long run. You say all of that based on experiences you've had and you've seen other people go through and wish you would have taken these steps or people would have taken these. But, people have a tendency to panic and freak out. I don't know if it's a flaw to a person's human nature or what, but it's not like they didn't know better.
Unless they're mentally handicapped. And we know (2) people like that.

you and i have had discussions similar to this in the past and i can honestly say i think both of us are really putting things into perspective. it's extremely difficult to stop thinking about your reason for sadness, and then think of things that could have prevented it. i do it all the time, most of the time i don't even realize it. but despite the fact that i do it, i know that it's not going to improve on anything and just get me more upset. so we're on the same page.
and as for highschool relationships, i do regret saying they're not worth it. because they basically prepare you for those to come. but i have lost an enormous amount of faith in relationships in general, especially those in highschool.
