Til's Cafe Review

So in Northboro we are lacking a real diner to grab breakfast on the weekends. We used to eat at the Centre Cafe downtown but they closed several years ago. That leaves us with Brittany's which is way too upscale, Friendly's which is kinda gross, or going to beyond the city limits without any caffine not a pleasant option.

That's a toughy. I'd give them one more try myself... that will give you a little better idea if it's systemic. I'm surprised that there aren't more towny type places around there.

I know...this was always a problem for us when we went for breakfast. Bob Evans was good, but you had to head out to 9. Diners were defintely lacking Northborough way.

Bob Evans has since been replaced by a Friendly's so now we have at least 3 friendly's within 5 miles. I liked Bob Evans as well. I am still hoping for a Waffle House but if Bob Evans couldn't make it I imagine that another southern chain won't either.

I sure could go for some hash browns scattered, covered, chunked, topped and peppered right about now.

i'd bet you were shocked to get the eggs i actually ordered ever. it must have taken that order of blueberry pancakes an hour to make it onto your table if the previous diners placed their order, waited, waited, finally left, and then 20 minutes later you were served their food. that's more than a waitressing problem. i usually will give a restaurant 2 chances but if a diner is empty on a weekend morning something is very wrong.

See I always have pleasant memories of that diner because it was so screwed up but in a nice way. It's not like there was a cigarette butt in my eggs or that the waitress was rude. It's just that she was completely clueless. I can easily believe that she gave the same slip to the chef again and he cooked up the breakfast again.
