I really want to like 'Once Upon a Time' but it doesn't really work that well for me. So many times it seems like the writers are just calling it in. When they run out of ideas they throw in a new character. It feels like a sequel where they feel like they have to go that extra step because it has to be bigger than the last story.

I managed to get a few things done this weekend despite getting a new computer game for Christmas that I knew was going to suck me in. Sandy had expressed interest in a tile backsplash for the second floor kitchen so we got measurements and picked up the tile. One of my friend's fiancee is working at Bombers in Troy and we got to go to one of the soft opening practice nights for dinner. First of all, the place looks like a Bombers, i.e. bright colors, lots of wood, pinup girls, so if you like Bombers' decor you'll like the new one. Finally got "Save the Date" cards printed for the wedding and reception. I'll be sending them out in the next few days. Also bought the plane tickets and paid for the room at Sandals. Things are getting going! It's hard to believe that in a little over 2 months Sandy and will be getting married on the beach in Jamaica!

One of my coworkers is SOOOOO incompetent. She hasn't ever completed a project and doesn't seem to have learned A THING in the past year and 9 months that she's been here. This really pisses me off after the layoffs that happened a few months ago. I'm not sure why the boss keeps her around. Grrrr!

We're planning on having a "big party" here in the U.S. no matter what, probably October 20th...

We're going to talk to our friends who might come and if any of them want to come we will likely change the venue.
