Zander is sitting in the common room, shaking slightly. He tried Ecstasy with Katherine, out of complete curiousity, knowing how stupid it was. And he tried it again.

 It's Zander's free period, and he's curled up stiffly on his favorite window ledge/seat near the Diviniation classroom, napping. When Zander sleeps, it looks very uncomfortable, and he never remembers his dreams. Most of the dreams he does remember are nightmares. I... I'm actually bored. And I never realized how hard it is to quit smoking. This is very upsetting.

 Upon reading Sabeena's letter, Zander has returned to school too. He's in a secluded classroom, carefully editing his History of Magic essay that isn't due for another week, and was assigned before the holiday break.

Zander's presents are finally delivered, though a little late. They're perfectly wrapped, each with a different colored bow on top and a crisply folded card, written in his old-fashioned handwriting.

Zander is in the music room of his manor, playing an elegant and slow piece on the piano for his parents' holiday party that is to be held on Christmas Eve. His fingers play fluidly on the keys, and he's very concentrated. 

Zander is returning from the Pitch, having just taken a shower after practice. His hair is slightly damp, his body slightly wet, and he's only wearing a t-shirt and jeans, despite the cold weather. He heads to the library to return the book he was reading previously, a bad taste in his mouth from Creevey's shindig. 

Zander is sitting in the corner of the Astronomy tower around midnight, after his Astronomy class has ended, a steadily burning candle next to him giving him the light source he needs. He's reading a book he randomly picked out a the library the other day, The Life and Times of Tom Marvolo Riddle.
