My starting weight was 78kg when I found out I was 6 months pregnant, at 9 months pregnant I weighed 86kg. It's now been 1 week since I had Anastasia in the hospital.
I now weigh 82.9kg, my weight watchers scales tell me the weight breakdown is 34.3% Fat, 37.9% Water, Bone 6.8%, with a BMI of 30.4

Feeling much better after a shower and putting on makeup. Trying to cheer myself up, last night I felt a bit overwhelmed and the pain didn't help. Had a case of the pregnancy blues. Decided I can only do what I can when recovering. Putting my best delegation skills to work, mum is doing the laundry. Can you guess today's outfit theme for Ana?

I woke up in much pain at noon, I had slept past my time to take more painkillers. Luckily Caj was here when I woke up because I couldn't walk, I cried and writhed as helped me out of bed and into the bathroom.

After I had pain relief in the form of voltaren and tramadol, I took a shower and had lunch.

Last night was one of the longest nights in my life, I felt like I was at some army concentration camp. Anastasia kept crying unless I held her, I had to feed her every 50mins, so I'd get 30mins sleep, then she'd cry again.

Only managed to have breakfast by holding her in one arm and ate cereal with the other.

My waters were broken at 9:00am, baby's hair sample was black. Pitocin drip started at 9:30am, baby's heart rate is 150/30.

Pains from the contractions were more intense and difficult not to push,the obstetrician said I was dialated 4cm. Not dialated enough to push, so she said it may be another couple of hours yet. I couldn't cope with the pain as ( Read more... )

I noticed no one posts on here anymore, any reason why? And what medium do you use now?

I left the obstetrician's office around noon, it was decided I'd be induced into labor next Tuesday.

What this means for me is:

certainty of the day the baby arrives

discomfort from being induced, side effects of labor induction (nausea, vomiting, runny nose, sinus pain, sinus irritation, memory problems, more intense contractions, frequent ( Read more... )

So as soon as I had finished Tafe, the baby has shown signs of it's impending arrival.

I am feeling more and more tired every day, Caj is starting to take care of me full time since it's becoming harder for me to remember things.

Woken up by Braxton hicks contractions, now can't get back to sleep.

3 weeks to go till I give birth, I feel like I am being trolled by my own body.

Caj's Mum is staying with us till Monday, she comes over regularly for medical confrences. It will be fun having her here for the Kigu party, she will be a cat!
