And I find the arts really beautiful, my favourite is the last. The role-playing, the blood, the weapon, the wind… All that gives a dramatic dimension that I like a lot. And maybe because I see my Hephaistion in "Nothing is ever finished" like that.

The drawings are very beautiful but are they done by European fans? With slight exception of the third from the top picture (Gao Changgong in black and gold costume) the face is European looking.

Murder in the Gao family is as common as cereal for breakfast. In this case his cousin murdered him and signed his own death warrant.
Ah, Gao didn't have world-wide fame. He was very popular in China but little-known anywhere else (except Japan, whose culture was deeply effected by China).
The pictures were drawn by his Chinese fans. They are supposed to be idolized and glorified version of a perfectly gorgeous man. Yes, most pictures do have some European characters in them, but they are undoubtedly Chinese. :)
