So, I'm still alive. For those of you who were in doubt. I'm back in Saugerties with the Clearwater. I really like the guys I'm working with right now. Shame is, most of them will be gone by the end of the month. But we'll be getting new people to replace them that will, no doubt, be just as awesome in different ways. I went skiing yesterday. It was actually quite fun. I even want to do it again. Apparently I didn't suck either. Carl followed me the whole time teaching me. We were both expecting me to suck but I didn't! I fell about 5 times but 4 of those were more like controlled spills. The last one was a real fall-- lost my skis and everything ( Read more... ) -

I just gave blood (for the first time since Scav Hunt 2004, I think) and now I really just want to take a nap. Blerg.
We're supposed to be getting quite a storm this week. But then, they're also talking about a wintry mix which doesn't mean "winter storm" to me. We'll see. Maine has yet to knock me out with it's stormy powers. -

So, I managed to leave my apartment, on my own, before dark. This might just be a first. I've been really trapping myself in my apartment for the last couple of months. On Saturday night I went to my first Contra Dance. It was a lot of fun. I loved getting to dance again and with so many different people. I also really enjoyed being surrounded by hippies. No go on the theater gig. No word from Lowe's or Shaw's. I even got turned down from a random job stuffing strawberries with ... flavored stuff. And my computer is on the fritz so I can't print the resume I spent an hour editing. I'm officially taking a break from the job search.
